Top 5 Vegan Brunches in Canggu ❤️
Updated: Jun 21, 2021
Ok, so you've been secretly lusting over those Bali-bowls insta pages for years and finally you're here in Bali! Everyone has told you 'you have to go to Canggu, it's vegan heaven' and... well... they are right! The big problem you've now got is where do you start? Well that's what we've spent the last 5 months working out for you!
Here’s our top 5 to get you started and feel free to hit us up for our long list (it’s got 18 spots on it 😂)
Unquestionably our most visited spot! tbh you could argue that its because it’s on our road, but then you’d have to take into account that that’s the reason we moved here 🤓
Fully vegan, wonderful team, beautifully tropical green garden, loads of space to sit and chill but, the stars of the show are the food and the coffee. From simple overnight muesli to the decadent breakfast combo (scramble, toast, juice, coffee, fruit) we love everything here! but, for me, the very best thing is that they have OATLY 😍 the only place in Canggu serving the good stuff, what a treat that it’s at such a beaut spot ☕️
Which side of the short-cut: Berawa
Fully Vegan: Yes
Current Fave: Overnight Muesli + Oat Flat White
We don’t head to the loft all that often because we tend not to eat big breakfasts, but when we do, it’s always here! This is their vegan brunch and it ticks so many boxes... super good scramble, delish coconut sweet potato hash, beet hummus, sourdough, spiced cabbage and garlic mushrooms all make an appearance and at £2.50 you really can’t go wrong with this colour-bomb
Which side of the short-cut: Batu Bolong
Fully Vegan: Nope
Current Fave: Full Vegan Brunch
Another favourite since week one 🥰 As you might expect from the name, matcha 🍵 has a big part to play on this menu, but don't be fooled - there’s so much more to this place 🙌
Tropical fruit bowls, overnight oats, a whole myriad of avo toast variations, green bowls, fry-ups and pancakes are all in offer and their juice + caffeine + breakfast deal comes in at just £3.75 🤯 bargain.
Which side of the short-cut: Berawa
Fully Vegan: No
Current Fave: Garden Toast + Matcha Latte
Ok, now this one is mixed vegan and non vegan so great for big groups and it’s a go to for us when we’re feeling ‘treaty’
As you sit down you’ll find a list + a pencil on your table. It’s essentially a tapas style offering where you mark down the small plates you’d like before someone comes to pick it up. You can get 3 for £3.50 or 5 for £5er
The vegan options are lush and include Mini smoothie bowl, cinnamon swirl, avo toast, chia puddin, mushroom toast (and salads if you’re feeling weird 😂)
Which side of the short-cut: Batu Bolong
Fully Vegan: No
Current Fave: Vegan Cinnamon Roll
We haven‘t been here nearly enough but they produced my favourite ever smoothie bowl, and what’s a Bali brunch list without a smoothie bowl, right?
As well as blasting my favourite bowl to date, Ruko is roughly a 4 minute walk from Finns beach club and Berawa beach so a perfect place for some per match food or to find yourself after a morning beach stroll 🏝
